Template Breakdown

KBM Upgrades/Patches 

What?  The process through which the most recent set of KBM templates are made available for a client’s database.  Template data will be mapped to the new templates.  Existing customizations are preserved, but will not include the latest enhancements. 
Why?   Access to new specialties.  Continued enhancements and upgrades on present template sets.


KBM Conversions

What?  The process through which the most recent set of KBM templates are made available for a client’s database.  Only limited template data will be mapped to the new templates.  Existing templates will not work unless reintegrated by development work. 
Why?  This step is required when moving from a non-number set of templates.  This will grant access to future KBM Upgrades.


Template Customization 

We can build what you need:  Ranges from simple tweaks to complete overhauls and brand new templates.  Recent customizations include building new quick visits, full HPIs, lab orders, and diagnostic procedures.

Current KBMs Supported:

7.6 – Distributed September 2007
7.7 – Distributed November 2008

  • 2088 PQRI measures, CPT and HCPCS code updates.
  • New features include:  customizable left hand navigation, treatment plan template
  • Note fields:  allow unlimited length of free text fields (previously 1000 character limit)

7.8 – Expected release:  Q4 2009
